We do send a gentle Wake Up reminder notification at your target time, but its job is to nudge you to open the app and run the morning flow, not to drag you out of bed. Think of it as: alarm wakes the body, Dawn Rhythm runs the morning.

  • Apple's alarm wakes you up. Dawn Rhythm runs everything that happens before and after — bedtime, wind-down, the 5-second wake-up challenge, the morning routine, and a focus block — all from a single target finish time. The two are designed to coexist, not compete.

  • Yes. Tapping Completemoves you to the next step whenever you want, even if the timer hasn't finished. The app gently nudges you to actually do them — that's what builds the habit — but it never locks you in.

  • Your main activity auto-completes when the target time arrives, so the morning still ends on schedule. Finishing a few minutes earlier just gives you a more accurate record — there's no penalty either way.

  • One streak day = one completed morning activity. Miss a day and the streak resets to zero. The number is shown on your stats screen along with badges you've earned along the way.

  • Your data is encrypted and stored in the cloud, tied to your account. Deleting the app doesn't delete your data — reinstall and sign in to restore everything. To permanently erase it, use the Settings → Privacy → Delete Account option in the app.
